tvONE Ships new C2-2000 Universal Scaler Series
Margate, Kent, UK, July 18, 2014 - tvONE (www.tvone.com), a leading designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge video and multimedia processing equipment, ships the new C2-2000 universal scaler series.

The C2-2000 series encompasses the C2-2855 Universal Scaler, the C2-2755 Video Scaler and the C2-2655 Scan Converter. This new series provides the ultimate flexibility to the user, as the C2-2855 features the ability to up/down/cross convert, the C2-2755 to up/cross convert, and the C2-2655 to down convert.

When asked about tvONE's new tactile user interface and software designs, Andy Fliss, tvONE's Director of Marketing said, "Our R&D team flawlessly succeeded in delivering on our customers' needs. Our new C2-2000 product line diminishes installation time and shortens learning curves, and that's where integrators and rental and staging experts find success today." The new product series features new, ergonomically designed control panels and highly intuitive configuration management tools making installation efficient for integrators and operation simple for users.
Unlike many products in its class, the C2-2000 series enables extremely flexible audio embedding and de-embedding for both HDMI and 3G/HD/SDI inputs and outputs. Add to that Integral Stereo Audio 4x1 audio routing switcher with four unbalanced inputs that can follow the video input selection. A rear panel terminal block and a 3.5mm jack-socket provides access.

The C2-2000 series provides high quality bi-directional conversion between a variety of analog and digital video formats. Inputs and outputs can be SD/HD/3G-SDI, HDMI, DVI, Composite Video, YC, YUV, YPbPr or RGB. An included key feature allows an image to be keyed over another and faded in and out due to the 4:4:4 sampling format for RGB sources, precise keying at the pixel level can be achieved. Five full-frame still images can be stored and switched along with five logos.

Transitions permit Seamless Cut, Fade or Wipe transitions between input sources and the Picture-In-Picture (PIP) functionality allows an input to be inset in a window over a second input or vice versa, with the PIP window having the ability to be placed anywhere on the screen. Frame lock allows for different resolutions to be used independent of frame rate.

The units can be controlled via the front panel buttons, a serial (RS-232) or Ethernet (IP) connection. Signal parameters of the incoming video may be adjusted, and all settings may be stored in non-volatile memory for recall even when power is switched off. Control software is available on several Windows platforms & interfaces directly with the unit.
