Category patch cables have been developed to support applications that use power over Ethernet.  Typical patch cables are commoditized, and many activities have occurred to trim costs.  Using smaller and smaller conductors is great to save space for data use, but for power applications, such as PoE or HDBaseT™, those smaller conductors can introduce issues in the link. The 152G6S series is made with real 24 AWG bare copper conductors.  This heavier copper ensures the voltage drop is less.  The cable is double shielded with individual pair and overall foil shields.  This helps with error free transmission. 50-micron gold plated contacts ensure reliable and durable continuous plugging and unplugging. The UL listed bulk cable is CM rated for concealed installs.  The Cable is tested and certified for ANSI/TIA-568 Category 6A and Third party tested for PoE, HDBaseT, and networking with Dante audio.
