Christie demonstrates latest product ranges to the Middle East market
PALME / DUBAI – (26th April 2011) – Christie, a global leader in visual solutions, is pleased to announce its participation at PALME 2011 (Dubai International Exhibition Centre, Dubai – 26–28 April 2011) on stand D10, showcasing the latest products from across its diverse business groups, including dynamic signage, Rental Staging and Control Rooms amongst others.
Nitro Solutions, the brand new Christie motorised moving yokes range, will make its debut at PALME this year. The modular series can provide up to 20,000 ANSI lumens of video projection, creating high brightness imagery on any surface from anywhere. Christie Nitro Solutions now offer three motorised yoke options: a dual-arm yoke for larger video projectors ranging from 12,000 to 20,000 ANSI lumens, and a single-arm yoke for projectors ranging from 5,700 to 15,000 ANSI lumens.
The modular approach of Christie Nitro Solutions expands the effectiveness of the moving yoke platform by allowing the user to deploy the yoke with either a video projector or light head. Other features include DMX512 control and a quick lock attachment system for easy set up and take down.
The multi-award winning Christie MicroTiles™ will feature on stand, in relevant and inspiring configurations. Christie MicroTiles are modular, digital display tiles that can be stacked and clustered like building blocks to create a digital canvas of any size, any shape and in any space. The groundbreaking LED- and DLP®-based system represents a huge step forward in large-format digital display technology, offering superior colour and image reproduction.
Also, Christie’s successful Mirage Series 3D DLP® projector line, recently expanded with the addition of six models to bring high performance 3D solutions to new markets, will be demonstrated. The new Christie Mirage M Series 3-chip DLP projectors offer complete compatibility with today’s 3D “HDMI 1.4” standards to support growing demands for 3D displays.
Finally, Christie’s new “E-Series” product platform, which brings stellar performance and value to the fixed installation market, will be showcased via latest additions, the DHD670-E and DWU670-E projectors.
The Christie E-Series 1-chip DLP® projectors deliver up to 6,000 ANSI lumens and 5,000:1 contrast ratio; ideal for small auditoriums, and medium-to-large meeting, training, and conference rooms. The Christie DHD670-E model offers native HD (1920 x 1080) resolution while the Christie DWU670-E provides WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution for maximizing image detail.
Both units have dual mercury lamps and each has the unique capability to optimize its lamp configuration for maximum single lamp operation. The Christie DHD670-E also utilizes a high brightness six-segment colour wheel (RGBCYW) with an optional rich colour wheel (RCGCYM) available when colour precision is crucial. The colour wheel ensures radiant colours while eliminating artefacts from fast moving content, leaving audiences with only razor-sharp images.
All these Christie innovations, amongst others, will be available for demonstration at PALME 2011 on stand D10.
