The highly popular and ultra-affordable Black Box Pure Networking™ Wireless family is now available in IEEE 802.11n. This new wireless standard, ratified in September 2009, incorporates Multiple-Input/Multiple-Output (MIMO), a technique that uses multiple signals to increase the speed, reliability, and coverage of wireless networks by transmitting multiple data streams simultaneously. 802.11n increases wireless bandwidth up to 300 Mbps—almost six times faster than 802.11g.
Upgrading wireless devices to 802.11n is one of the easiest ways to improve the performance
of a small network. Because 802.11n works transparently with older 802.11a/b/g wireless devices, compatibility is never a problem. Unlike some other “802.11n” products, Pure Networking 802.11n wireless devices are designed to the newly ratified IEEE 802.11n standard, not the draft one.
The Pure Networking 802.11n line includes the 2T2R Wireless Router, the 2T2R Wireless Access Point, and the 2T2R Wireless USB Adapter. These new 802.11n products make Pure Networking the complete wireless solution for small office and home use.
