Most Powerful Portable PA System to Launch at InfoComm 2015 in Orlando,
FL
Designed by Anchor Audio, Inc. based on industry demand
CARLSBAD, Calif. – The Bigfoot® Line Array, the
loudest and most powerful battery powered PA ever engineered, will debut this
June at InfoComm 2015 in Orlando, Florida, by portable sound system manufacturer,
Anchor Audio, Inc. The concept for a turnkey system of this sound pressure
level (SPL) and wattage stemmed from multiple requests from Anchor Audio’s customer
and dealer network to deliver a portable sound system that can be heard across
a football field, over military trainings, and provide a portable sound solution
for large events.
To accomplish its claims, the Bigfoot emits 130 dB and 400
Watts AC/DC of sound through its five 8” neodymium woofers and one
high-efficiency tweeter, all powered by 3 rechargeable batteries. With a
durable UV resistant enclosure and two rugged, heavy-duty 8” wheels, the
Bigfoot transports easily and, like its namesake, can withstand tough
environments. Bigfoot – as well as the majority of Anchor’s product line – is
manufactured in the USA, ships same day, and is covered by an industry leading six-year
warranty.
“We like to do the unprecedented,” said David Jacobs,
chairman of the board for Anchor Audio, on developing the first ever battery
powered 130 dB line array. “Our customers are continually thrilled with their
Beacon Line Array Portable Sound System – excited by both the sound quality and
sophisticated design – but an increasing demographic of our customers are wanting
even more power, which is why we developed the Bigfoot.”
The Bigfoot is the first Anchor Audio portable sound system
that offers up to four built-in UHF wireless receivers. Standard inputs and
outputs include: two universal microphone inputs, one 1/4” balanced line input,
one 3.5 mm AUX balanced line input, and USB charging for portable devices. It
also features standard built-in Bluetooth connectivity on all models and an
optional built-in CD/MP3 combo player. The Bigfoot includes bass and treble
controls for fine-tuning as well as a battery level indicator.
The Bigfoot Line Array is available
à la carte as well as in packages with either two or four wireless
receivers and microphones. The cost of a base unit starts at $3,350 – suggested
retail price. The top of the line package, the Bigfoot Quad, includes the
system with standard built-in Bluetooth, a built-in CD/MP3 combo player, four
wireless receivers, and the customer’s choice of four wireless microphones.
“This thing will blow your hair back,” said Janet Jacobs,
president of Anchor Audio. Bigfoot will debut at the 2015 InfoComm
International Tradeshow this June at the Orange County Convention Center in
Orlando, Florida, in Anchor Audio’s booth #933. Bigfoot will be shipping in summer
2015. To order Bigfoot or for more information about Anchor Audio products,
