tvONE Introduces new C2-2000 series derivatives at InfoComm
Margate, Kent, UK, June 13, 2014 - tvONE (www.tvone.com), a leading designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge video and multimedia processing equipment, will demonstrate the new C2-2000 series at InfoComm'14.

The new C2-2000 series encompasses the previously released C2-2855 universal scaler and its two new derivatives, the C2-2755 Video Scaler PLUS and C2-2655 Scan Converter PLUS, both debuting at InfoComm. These new designs have more input/output flexibility than any other previous tvONE scaler. They can be set up and managed using a new, innovative front panel or via computer-based control panel that allows setup in less than 1/3 the time of the previous generation.

The two new derivatives of the C2-2855 provide flexibility to the user, as the C2-2755 features the ability to up/cross convert, and the C2-2655 to down convert, so the user may now purchase what they want, depending on their needs. "Our rental and staging customers are really excited about this new product range. The ease of use and super-fast setup seem to be exactly what they've needed." Said Dan Gibson, Vice President, tvONE.

Unlike many products in its class, the C2-2000 series enables extremely flexible audio embedding and de-embedding for both HDMI and 3G/HD/SDI inputs and outputs. Add to that Integral Stereo Audio 4x1 audio routing switcher with four unbalanced inputs that can follow the video input selection. A rear panel terminal block and a 3.5mm jack-socket provides access.

The C2-2000 series provides high quality bi-directional conversion between a variety of analog and digital video formats. Inputs and outputs can be SD/HD/3G-SDI, HDMI, DVI, Composite Video, YC, YUV, YPbPr or RGB.  An included key feature allows an image to be keyed over another and faded in and out due to the 4:4:4 sampling format for RGB sources, precise keying at the pixel level can be achieved. Five full-frame still images can be stored and switched along with five logos.

Transitions permit Seamless Cut, Fade or Wipe transitions between input sources and the Picture-In-Picture (PIP) functionality allows an input to be inset in a window over a second input or vice versa, with the PIP window having the ability to be placed anywhere on the screen. Frame lock allows for different resolutions to be used independent of frame rate.

The units can be controlled via the front panel buttons, a serial (RS-232) or Ethernet (IP) connection. Signal parameters of the incoming video may be adjusted, and all settings may be stored in non-volatile memory for recall even when power is switched off. Control software is available on several Windows platforms & interfaces directly with the unit.

Come see the C2-2000 series in action at booth N926 throughout the entirety of the InfoComm Exhibition.
