Mount Vernon, N Y. Key Digital, Inc, the Experts in Digital Video Technology and Solutions, is proud to announce the upcoming launch of its new HDMI/DVI to dual CAT5/6/7 Cable Extender (RX/TX Baluns) model: KD-CATHD (includes RX/TX)

The KD-CATHD incorporates Key Digital’s exclusive HDMI/DVI Path technology, which prevents EDID miscommunication, resulting in flawless HDMI/DVI signal transfers form source to display, with HDMI1.3 standards for full HD performance capability.

KD-CATHD is the ideal product for sending signals over CAT5/CAT5E cabling. All models support video resolutions up to 1080p/60 signals up to 150 feet and HDMI 1080p/24, 1080i, 720p signals up to 280 feet over two CAT5. KD-CATHD has full support of HDCP, HDMI1.3a/b, 12 Bit Deep Color, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital and DTS Master Audio. In addition, KD-CATHD enables the use of less expensive CAT5 UTP cabling for HDMI/DVI signal distribution.

The new KD-CATHD is currently shipping at an MSRP of $625 per pair.
