Key Digital^® Introduces CAT5/6/7 Baluns (VGA, Component & Audio) under the FAT CAT Series

Mount Vernon, NY. Key Digital Systems, Inc. the Experts in Digital Video Technology and Solutions, is proud to announce the upcoming launch of the newest FAT CAT Series CAT5/6/7 Cable Extenders; the KD-CATCVA and KD-CATCV (RX/TX Baluns).

Michael Lakhter, VP of Key Digital, stated: “More and more of our customers are looking to us to help them get into vertical markets, and with these VGA/Component/Audio Baluns we are helping our customers get into these markets, allowing them to offer complete solutions to any market”.

These balun devices are capable of transmitting and/or receiving video and audio up to 1000 feet over standard UTP, CAT5/6/7 cable. KD-CATCV and KD-CATCVA can support SD/HD resolutions of 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p and VESA/VGA (RGBHV) resolutions from 640x480p up to 1920x1080p. In addition, KD-CATCV and KD-CATCVA are capable of cable EQ adjustments, video gain & switch adjustments.

The newFATCAT Series baluns will beavailable at the following MSRP: $325 for KD-CATCV and the KD-CATCVA (with audio) and $500.
